The new B-Hornet from Louise RC gives a spot-on performance at Herts and Slough in recent testing. Our chosen test drivers were Steve Biscoe and Edd Kerry. Both said the performance was noticed straight away and combined with the excellent wear rate was just brilliant. Steve qualified 3rd on his first outing ahead of Neil cragg and Dave crompton. Edd said he was pleasantly surprised how consistently quicker he was over a previously trusted tyre and felt there was more to come.

We would like to Welcome Edd Kerry to the Werks Racing Team.
When first talking to the 2011 British Truggy Champion, we knew the engine would have to deliver in all areas, and more. Edd who is also a regular top 10 finisher in the National Buggy Series was sent a B6 Pro + 2058 pipe-set for testing, and to our delight the engine delivered. Edd commented on the amazing power capacity and superb run-time, which is essential at this level.
Testing will continue over the winter and all set-ups and tuning advice will be posted on the website for truggy and buggy, with the B5 also being tested with various pipe-set /clutch configurations. 
Edd is looking forward massively to the 2012 season and can be spotted at many events throughout the UK and Europe along with is pitman (father) Les. They are both very approachable and will gladly advice or help with any of the Werks products.

We would like to introduce Nathan Powney to the JC / Werks / Intech Racing Team. When first talking to Nathan about a possible drive, he was excited about the progress Intech were already making, and the opportunity of helping in future development. Nathan is already a proven driver and his experience at Club and National level makes him an asset to the Team, along with this he is a very likable guy on the racing circuit and will help anyone out. He also helps run the very impressive Ledbury Club which welcomes new and non-members from all over the UK. 

Well done to Rob Lloyd for Winning the Nitro X Cross summer series.  It has been a very competitive series with it been decided on the final round at Ledbury by only a couple of points. Rob and Nathan Powney fought it out all weekend which saw Rob the victor. Steve is set to work closely with JC Racing Products and will be available to offer any advice and set-up tips to Werks owners. Jon Howells showed what performance the JC offset tire can deliver on the Astro at Stoke recently.  He set TQ and took the win, saying it gave a very good all round performance over its rivals. The JC tyres have a good stable carcass and used with standard foam inserts or an option moulded type delivers  in all areas with the aggressive spike which can be honed  to the drivers own style. I would like to thank Bryn Pound and his crew for putting on a great weekend for rounds 7+8 of the Nitrox. With the added new feature of a two tiered rostrum, this was interesting!!!?? Despite the forecast of showers, the event was even more popular than last year with an amazing entry of 100+ drivers.  As ever the series welcomed drivers of all ages and ability. On Saturday Jon Howells was showing the young ones he’s still got it. With a consistent day john secured TQ and looked good for the win. However after a flame out after coming out the pits, Nathan Powney and Milan Dragojlovic looked to be gifted a 1-2 with their Werks B6 powered cars. Jon however kept a cool head and kept chipping away while Nathan and Milan got caught in traffic and then Nathan suffering a cut after rolling the car just before his pit stop. This allowed for Jon to catch and pass taking the win followed by Milan and , with Nathan managing a respectful 6^th.   

On Sunday we all woke to the lovely British sun which stayed with us all day. This made for another fantastic day of racing and to watch some amazing flying too. The Buggy class was again a very competitive days racing, and In the Truggy it was Josh Powney who struck again to take the win, with him choosing the Louise RC T-Pirate tire for the final after gaining TQ after choosing to run them in the final round. 

Werks racing engines are turning Pro mid June. The newly designed head is 10% lighter, it has a sharp looking heat dissipating black casing, ceramic rear bearing, epoxy filled crank to reduce weight and increase spool up to provide increased acceleration and economy. Along with added regidity gained through the all new cnc machined billet back plate, again saving weight.

Many of you may know that JC Racing Products have made wheels since the late 1980`s. It was only 18 months ago when my father and i were wondering if the end had finally come for our selection of classic RC wheels, as demand was no longer there. Like most things they get superseeded but to our surprise after searching the ever amazing "Worldwide Web" we found their was a large community of collectors and even racers of these legendary cars in the UK and overseas. It then became apparent that many parts were hard to find. So to the rescue came the re-stocking of all our classic wheels for the Associated, Yokomo, Schumacher, Kyosho and many more. Available now. 

Werks power to 2nd 3rd and 14th overall at the opening 8-11 series round at frankley. Congratulations to Milan Dragojlovic, Leigh Richardson and Mathew Lawrence. It was an exciting opener with the attraction of more top drivers than before, just demonstrating how competitive the reginal events are becoming. Next round is at Notts and Derby off road car club on 22nd May.

Massive congratulations to Milan Dragojlovic, he achieved a hard earned 7th place in the opening round of the National BRCA series at Frankley. The event was hampered with mixed weather conditions putting the competitors driving and set-up skills to the test. Like many big names, Milan managed to bump up two finals whilst using the Werks B6`s performance and run-time to full advantage resulting in a 12th spot grid position in the main final. The main final saw a few of the front runners having early problems and finding the conditions very testing which opened the race up to whoever could keep a cool head and drive a consistently paced race. Milan did just that resulting in a brilliant start to his National series. Well done. Next National is at Coventry on May 8th.

Congratulations to Milan Dragojilovic for winning the ledbury BIG 3 winter series, with his Werks powered X-Ray. This 7 event series had an exciting finale with a selection of drivers able to take the overall win due to the series format. Is was in this 35min A final that Nathan Powney got into the groove to take control of the chasing pack, pushing the ever focused pole sitter Milan through to half distance for Milan who was looking good for the win to have a cut. This brought Nathan back in touch with a good battle for 3rd also going on behind with Rob Lloyd, Neil Davies and Tim Bullock fighting it out. It was Nathan’s mis-fortune that would follow with an engine cut, and with Milan pushing hard and making good use of the Werks exceptional run time enabled him to take the silverware.

Well done also to Josh Powney for taking the Truggy title; Oliver Bowen for taking the under 16`s and Nathan Phillips for the under 13`s.
