A&L 1991 Historical Front & Rear Suspension Arms (set)
Product Overview:
JC Racing Products, in collaboration with Factory Works and A&L Racing, are proud to introduce newly developed moulded front and rear A-arms for the historical A&L platform used in preparation for the 1991 IFMAR World Championships in Detroit.
Inspired by the progression toward longer suspension arm designs and the innovative engineering approaches of the era, these new arms stay true to the original concept while benefiting from modern manufacturing methods.
Manufactured in-house using an injection moulded hybrid nylon material, the arms retain the original geometry, styling, and visual character of the classic machined nylon components used on the original cars.
The arms are available in two distinct finishes:
- Natural – capturing the authentic appearance and nostalgic feel of the original period components.
- Black – offering a more modern, practical, and race-oriented aesthetic.
Both versions provide an ideal option for restorers, collectors, and custom builders looking to recreate cars from the golden era of RC racing while maintaining period-correct styling and performance characteristics.

A&L History
Originally developed by Chris Allec and Daryl Lane, A&L was formed and produced three different versions of the car for testing prior to 1991 IFMAR Worlds Championships and the USA ROAR Nationals.
The cars combined components from Team Associated, Losi, and Kyosho platforms in an effort to find the optimum setup for the exceptionally rough and loose track conditions.
Almost every component on the original cars was heavily modified or hand fabricated, with flat plate materials individually cut and shaped by hand. The project represented a highly creative and experimental period in off-road RC development, where innovation and adaptability often outweighed convention. This car shares a look you may recognise from another well known brand.
Jeff Malar has taken time, care and patience to help resurrect this project and JC Racing Products are proud to partner up with Factory Works and produce some of these iconic parts.
