This part has been produced so the builder of the model can achieve the desired fit they are looking for. As they are they will assemble perfectly for a shelf model but may require a small amount of preparation for racing purposes. For example you may need to trim the part or even ream the hole 1/8" to get the movement you want. We only recommend using stainless steel screws in this part as the aluminum screws risk breaking, this is due to the slightly tougher harder wearing material. If you prefer to use aluminum screw we recommend using a stainless screw first to cut the thread then proceed with fixing using a aluminum screw. One stainless steel screw will be provided with this part.

Process of manufacture is Injection molded.

Material is high grade low percentage glass filled nylon, this results in a very stable durable part.
