Product Overview:

This 3/16" Axle Crush Tube and Shim Set is designed for Team Associated models including the RC10, DS, RC10T, and JC10. The set comes with six additional fine-tuning shims, effectively eliminating any potential bearing bind. 

When installing axle crush tubes, it is crucial to ensure that the vehicle's wheel can be fully tightened to prevent bearing bind, a common oversight that can lead to damage of both the bearing and driveshaft. If the bearing continues to experience bind when only using crush tube, it is necessary to adjust the thickness of the crush tube using the provided shims. Given the tight tolerances, it is advisable to make adjustments one shim at a time until the binding issue is resolved when the wheel is fully tightened. It is essential to regularly inspect the vehicle during servicing, as the wheels experience continuous tightening and loosening.
